5K Run and 4K Walk
Good Karma will come your way by participating in Seattle’s only choose your own
charity race. Select from a list of ten charities when you register and a portion of your
proceeds will go to that charity. Choose from:
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Seattle Humane
EarthCorps
Arts Fund
Seattle Childrens
USO
Northwest Harvest
Red Cross
Puget Sound Blood Center
Equal Rights Washington
The charity with the most participants running will also receive an additional bonus donation. Good Karma points (and raffle tickets for the prize drawing) can also be racked up by bringing a can of food for the Northwest Harvest food drive, donating your gently worn shoes to Redeeming Soles, registering on the Be The Match Bone Marrow Registry, donating your hair to Locks of Love (and get a free haircut), adopting a pet at the Seattle Humane Max Mobile, and by writing thank you cards to troops. You will feel like a saint by the end of the morning and will have gotten a great workout too!
Traffic-free course along the shores of Lake Washington.
Participants will receive a choice of a t-shirt or a mug, a finish-line party with food and drinks. Prizes for top runners, tons of random door prizes and eternal good karma.
