Take it to the Dome 5K Run and Walk Scale the largest inclined hill in Tacoma! Hosted by non-profit Why Knot Me and “Boddy In Motion” personal training and massage. The race is raising money for underprivileged children and young adults. Date: September 19th, 2009 Start time: 9:00am Start Location: 1728 E 44th St., Tacoma, WA MAP Entry Fees: $25 pre-race, $35 day of race. How to register: On-line until midnight September 18th Registration will also be available Thursday night 5 - 8 pm (9/17/09) at The Harmon Brewery in Tacoma, and Spanaway Fitness Center from 9/15 - 9/18 during business hours. Bid number and t-shirt pick up: 8AM day of race at start line The Course: USATF Certified (#WA09041MW). Start near 1728 E 44th St., Tacoma, WA, 98404 and finish near Crystal Voyage back parking lot at the Tacoma Dome parking lot J (2601 E. D St., Tacoma, WA 98421). Course takes you up Fairbanks hill, a 17% incline challenge! Course Map Transportation: Parking is available at Eastside Community Healthcare (1728 E. 44th St., Tacoma) near the start line.
