I am a 40 year old wife, mother, runner, triathlete, and back-to-college student from the Houston, TX area. I am originally from Seattle, WA, and was an avid backpacker and trail runner in the beautiful Puget Sound. I ventured past 5 & 10k's when I moved to Texas a little over 3 years ago and quickly became known in my running circles as "The Overachiever". I just completed my 10th full marathon, have done over 20 half marathons, and am currently training for a 50k. In 2015, I hope to complete my first 50 miler, a full distance Ironman, and possibly a triple digit trail run. Anything worth doing is worth overdoing!
