My first marathon was Dallas (White Rock) in December 2002. I ran 4 more marathons, ending in March 2004, then took a break from long races. In December 2007, I went back to Dallas, ran the White Rock Marathon, got engaged to my wonderful husband at the finish, and got back into marathoning. I have now run 25 marathons and 4 ultras, as of 2/2/14. My husband, who just started running when we met in 2007, caught the "marathon bug" too, and he just qualified for Boston and is about to run his first ultra. :-)
