Mother of 2 girls age 7 and 5. I always said I hated running...until I actually tried it one day. It was an instant love, it was "my" time, a time to think, a time to clear my head and just a time to get fresh air. I started after I could no longer roller blade with my girls in the jogger (tandem jogger and rollerblades just worked like a sail against me). I love the outdoors and after having my second daughter it was a was for me to keep active. I had no idea after lacing up my shoes 4 years ago I'd become instantly hooked....and now a maniac...looking for more. I run 6 days a week, avg 50-60 miles each week. I've joined a crazy group of runners (The Suncoast Striders) and now I just couldn't imagine myself not running. I'm happy to become a maniac and look forward to taking on more challenges.
