I am a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran that has undergone 5 heart surgeries - the last open heart. After the last surgery, the Doctors expected me to be a 'couch potato', but after much arm twisting they said I could walk 'some'. They didn't expect much from it, but I've never been one to put obstacles in my chosen path. I decided that I was NOT going to sit around and die, so I started walking - walking 5Ks, 10Ks, and 1/2 Marathons.
