Join other crazy runners for one last hoorah before the year ends!  This is one of the most scenic routes you'll ever find, with 90% of the race running along the Puget Sound with views of the Olympic Mountains, Bremerton and the Navy Base, Seattle, Mount Rainier and the Cascades and much more.   The Half Marathon is a PR-type course with a negative elevation gain and almost all of it as FLAT as you'll find. This year we've added a 5K! Also, keep in mind we are raising money and food for Backpacks for Kids in Port Orchard.  BRING FOOD ITEMS.

  Half - Goes to Manchester State Park and returns
  Full Marathon - DUE TO Southworth Bridge being OUT, the Full Marathon will be a double out and back of the half marathon course (see above).  We apologize but have no control over this situation.  2012 will be the permanent course all the way out to Southworth.

Awards
3 deep in 5-year age groups, plus 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-60, 70 & over.
*Note: overall and masters winners will be taken out of age group awards.
Medals
NEW custom finishers medals to those who finish.  
Weather
Be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.  Layers, layers, layers.  It is DECEMBER after all.
