I have been running for years, but didn't really get into competitive running until 2010 when I ran my first full marathon @ OKC Memorial Marathon and loved it. Not only was the race itself unforgettable (close to the heart) but it was the most fulfilling thing I have ever done. I was hooked and the next four years I committed to this marathon. Also in 2013, I trained for and completed a half Ironman and then ran my first full marathon out of state. KC Marathon. That was when I decided it was time to venture out and complete a full marathon in all 50 states. To date in 2014, I have done Mississippi in Jan, New Orleans in Feb & just ran Lil Rock in March which qualified me for Marathon Maniacs. :-). Of course I have several upcoming races including OKCMM again in April and the full marathon in Hatfield and the full Ironman in Sept. And next year, I want to qualify for Boston. :-D
