WELCOME TO THE 2012
LYNCH CREEK RUNS!
SATURDAY, APRIL 7, 2012
Set in the historic community of Eatonville along the Lynch Creek Road, the course is a USTAF certifed out-and-back course with views of the creek, wooded areas, and pastures. Unlike a lot of road races, this one is semi-secluded and peaceful to run. It's also a great negative split course as it has a little bit of a climb on the outbound leg. Snacks, water and sports drinks will be on hand before, during, and after the race to keep you hydrated and nourished. Walkers, strollers, and dogs on leashes are welcome on the 5k course plus we have a great 1k race set up for kids 11 and under (it's free!). Also, make sure to stick around after the race for awards and some post-race snacks.
We are proud to announce a new 10k course this year! The 10k will include a 5k loop through town that will come back and connect with the out-and-back 5k on Lynch Creek Road. It should be a super fun 10k with not a ton of hills but enough to keep you honest and in the end should still be plenty fast.
We are excited to be teaming up with a permanent charity to donate to - The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association. So come out, have some fun and donate to great cause at the same time!
