4-Mile Race Scenic Loop Course. Start on Silverdale Way in front of the Silverdale Community Center, 9729 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale WA 98383, between YMCA Haselwood and Walgreens. Run along Silverdale Way parade route continuing on Newberry Hill Rd. under overpass to Provost Rd. Turn right and proceed to Anderson Hill Rd. Turn right at Anderson Hill Rd. and follow to Silverdale Way. Turn Left and finish back where you started, at Silverdale Community Center. Course closes at 9:50 AM.
1- Mile Fun Run/Walk. Start on Silverdale Way in front of the Silverdale Community Center, 9729 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale WA 98383, between YMCA Haselwood and Walgreens. Run down and back along the parade route on Silverdale Way to Carlton finishing back to the Silverdale Community Center. Course closes at 9:50 AM.
Kids’ Dashes. On Silverdale Way in front of the Silverdale Community Center; 25 yard; 50 yard, 75 yard, and 100 yard.

Registration
All Race, Walk, and Dash participants. Register in advance online or via the paper registration form mailed or dropped of at Hospice of Kitsap County. Online registration ends at Midnight on Wednesday, July 23rd. You may also register on race day from 7:15 - 8:40 AM at Silverdale Community Center (next to the new YMCA) on Silverdale Way. Entry Fees
• $20 for the 4-Mile Race, $15 for the 1-Mile Run/Walk, $5 for Kids’ Dashes (pre-registration pricing) • Day of race entries are $25, $20, and $5 respectively. • Commemorative Race T-Shirts are an additional $10 - T-Shirt guaranteed to orders received by July 20th. Shirt prices go up to $15 after July 20th. • T-shirts will be in limited supply day of race. |

Race Packet Pick-Up
Early packet pick-up and registration on Friday July 25, 11:30 - 6:00pm at the Hospice of Kitsap County office located at 10356 Silverdale WAY (the building in the TJ Maxx parking lot). Day of race packet pick-up is from 7:15 - 8:40 AM at the Silverdale Community Center

Awards
1-Mile Fun Run/Walk – Special Trophy to the first Male and Female Winners Overall
4-Mile Race - A Special Trophy to the first Male and Female Winners Overall; A Trophy for the top Masters Male and Female (over 40); First, Second and Third Place in each category (M,F) will receive medals.
Kids’ Dashes - Special prize for all who take part! No division placing in dashes. Awards ceremony starts after the kids’ dashes.
Prizes
Awards ceremony and prize drawing starts after the Kids’ Dashes. Great gifts from local businesses are up for grabs! Must Be Present To Win!

Can I run with my dog?
YES – Pets must be on a leash and behave in large crowds. Participants are responsible to clean-up any waste left by your pet.

Where does the run start?
The 4-mile, the 1-mile and the Kids’ dashes all start in front of the Silverdale Community Center.
Is the Start/Finish at the same location?
YES
Is it hilly?
1 mile, NO; 4 mile is challenging – up and down hills.
What time do the runs start?
· 4-Mile Race: 8:30 am
· 1-Mile Run/Walk: 8:45 am
· Kids’ Dashes: 9:15 am
What time are the awards given?
Approximately 10 am.
Is there a parade/festival?
YES – starts at 10 am
Where can I park?
North or West of Kitsap Mall OR East of Silverdale Way. The best parking for race day is at Safeway if you are headed towards Bremerton afterwards or in the Sears parking lot if you are headed towards Poulsbo. That will help you avoid parade traffic.
Is there a water station along the course?
YES – Between the 2 and 3 mile markers
Can I walk the 4-mile?
YES – if you can finish within 1 hr. and 10 min.
